The Lodge is situated 3km south of Scone on the east side of the New England Hwy, set on 300 acres situated in a clam setting near Scone at the top of the Hunter Valley, overlooking a exquisite valley of horse studs, dairies and farmland. This simply diverse BB comprises three main accommodation rooms, each fully air conditioned and equipped with their own fireplace, spa, lounge area and concealed courtyard, making each room a private retreat. The Lodge offers a number of recreational facilities, from outdoor walking tracks, BBQ areas to a fully appointed indoor solar heated swimming pool. Meals, other than Breakfast, should be arranged earlier to arrival where plausible as new local produce is used. Local wines are also on donate to complement the meal. The name Strathearn Park Lodge is derived from history and marks the Celtic settlement history of the region. Scone was originally obvious as the Parish of Strathearn, and was named after the Palace of Scone in the Scottish valley that marks the ancient crowning place of the kings of Scotland. Today, Scone is the essence of rural life and is known for its famous thoroughbred horse studs and many other horse activities such as rodeos, polo, camp drafts, fine wines and rugged bush land.
